Zambales Mango Festival 2013 Schedule of Activities

Zambales is known for the beautiful and majestic coves of Nagsasa and Anawangin with the famous islands of Capones and Camara located in the municipality of San Antonio. Another thing the province of Zambales is being proud of is their mangoes awarded by the Guinness Book of World Records as the sweetest mango in the world in 1995. To celebrate the bountiful harvest, the province holds the annual Zambales Mango Festival in Iba. This year, the festival is slated for March 20-24 coinciding with the hosting of the 15th National Mango Congress.

One highlight of the festival is the PINAKA LGU Booth Showcase wherein the 13 municipalities of the province will display and advertise their own mango-based products, from dried mangoes to wine and other items. Other highlights of the event include the Street and Civic Parade, Float and street dancing competitions, mango carving competition, mango challenges and Bb. Zambales 2013.
