Angono, Rizal located about 20 miles east of Metro Manila is considered as the Art Capital of the Philippines. The town is also known for the Higantes Festival in honor of San Clemente, the patron saint of the fishermen. During this time, “higantes” or paper mache giants 10-15 feet tall, parade around the locale.
