A cup of coffee starts my day. Coffee is already a part of my system that makes me awake and active. I have a mid (2PM-11PM) shift on work and since I’m not used to staying up late, a cup of coffee available in our pantry or an iced coffee (if my budget allows) from the nearby coffee shops will make me focus on the work that I‘m doing. Recently, a new coffee shop/restaurant opened its new branch in McKinley Hill, where my workplace is located.
Black Canyon Coffee, having the largest chain of coffee houses with more than 200 branches in Thailand and other international locations, opened its second branch in the Philippines. Located in Tuscany in McKinley Hill, the BCC offers a wider array of coffee products compared to the usual offerings of other coffee shops in the area.
On top of these choices is their signature Black Canyon Hot and Iced Coffee. Available drinks on the menu were classified into hot and iced coffee, coffee frappes, chocolate and milk based to iced teas, green tea, smoothies and herbal juices. Since BCC originated from Thailand, the famous Thai iced tea “cha-yen” is also available: Cha Thai Yen (Thai iced tea with milk) and Cha Thai Yen Frappe. Aside from the signature BCC coffee, best sellers include the Hot Espresso and Cappuccino.
During the opening and grand launching of Black Canyon Coffee McKinley last June 15, 2013, we also experienced the Thai International Cuisines being served by the restaurant. Their famous Pad Thai, Deep-Fried Sesame-Crusted Fish, and Spicy Prawn soup (Tom Yum Goong).
To coffee lovers, the new Black Canyon Coffee in McKinley Hill is definitely the next place to be.
