Before anything else, everyone can read it because no violence will be manifested on this post when I said “battle”, I mean a comparison of two different parties.

Empanada is a stuffed bread or pastry usually baked or fried, a famous snack in Ilocos Sur and Norte. The process of making an Ilocos empanada starts with the rice flour tortilla added with a ring of chopped vegetables and ground Ilocos longganisa. An egg and cheese can be added inside the ring of vegetables. The tortilla will be folded carefully and using a plastic plate, trims the edges of the tortilla that will be deep fried. It goes along with the sukang Iloko.

Famous empanadahans were found in Vigan City, Ilocos Sur and Batac City, Ilocos Norte having a different taste and set of ingredients. So what are you waiting for? Let’s get ready to rumble!
